Minimizing evaporation loss of valuable liquefied gases is paramount to customers who expect to retain the maximum payload in their cryogenic vessels. These liquefied gases are stored and transported at temperatures down to -270°C and include Nitrogen, Oxygen, Argon, Hydrogen, Helium, and Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG). The recent growth in LNG infrastructure driven by global energy demand and increased availability of natural gas has created a growing demand for super-insulating products.
CRS Wrap® super-insulating media combines inorganic glass nonwoven fiber with aluminum foil to form a collated, super-insulating system of radiant barriers and spacers on one roll.
In combination with aluminum foil, CryoTherm® super-insulating media provides the most efficient thermal protection for liquefied gases.
With a broad operating temperature range, Cryo-Lite® cryogenic insulation is suitable for insulating stationary as well as mobile cryogenic tanks and railcars. Cryo-Lite insulation offers thermal protection along with excellent stability.
