Using advanced paper manufacturing technology Lydall Performance Materials has combined industry leading Low Biopersistent (Non Classified) high temperature fibre with the patent pending FLX technology to develop a truly superior product, LyTherm® LBP alkaline earth silicate media. The fibres used to manufacture this product meet the European regulatory requirements 97/60/EC.
LyTherm LBP paper provides an ultra-flexible thermal barrier. With a classification temperature of 1200° C and a recommended operating temperature of 1100° C, LyTherm LBP media may be used in a wide variety of industrial applications.
LyTherm LBP performance grade paper is processed from spun washed high purity calcium, magnesium, and silicate fibres formed into an exceedingly flexible sheet. The in-line washing process removes unwanted shot particles yielding a clean and efficient insulating paper with high strength and a uniform surface.
